About the role

This position is responsible for providing instruction to students with significant learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Adapts instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with significant learning disabilities.
• Assesses student progress and adjusts teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintains accurate records and reports on student performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with significant learning disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations.

Skills

• Proficiency in using educational software and tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 8 hours per day, 10 months per year.
