About the role

This position is responsible for providing instruction to students with significant learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with other special education staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with significant learning disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using special education software and tools.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is a 10-month contract starting August 3, 2026.
