About the role

This position is responsible for providing instruction to students with significant learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Adapts instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Maintains accurate records and reports on student progress.
• Collaborates with other special education staff to provide comprehensive support to students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Florida Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Experience working with students with significant learning disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using technology tools for teaching and assessment.

• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 8 hours per day, 10 months per year.
