Utility Locate Technician $24.50-$30/hr West Valley City, Utah

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality utility marking to avoid damage during excavation.
• Use advanced LaunchPoint software system to create efficiencies.
• Complete a route of locate requests each day.
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers.
• Receive daily tasks through a mobile work system.
• Work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check.
