Position Summary

The Senior Web Designer is responsible for leading the design, optimization, and ongoing evolution of the organization's digital experience across websites, landing pages, microsites, and web-based marketing initiatives. This role combines strategic thinking, advanced visual design capability, UX/UI expertise, and strong cross-functional partnership to create engaging digital experiences that strengthen the brand, improve customer engagement, and support business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing high-performing, responsive web experiences; partnering with marketing and development teams; and using data, user insights, and design best practices to continuously improve website performance. This individual serves as a subject matter expert in web design and user experience while helping elevate digital design standards across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Web Design & User Experience
    • Create user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.
    • Lead user-centered design efforts focused on improving usability, accessibility, engagement, and conversion.
    • Partner closely with developers to ensure design intent, quality, and usability are preserved through implementation.
    • Balance user needs, technical constraints, brand standards, and business goals in design recommendations.
  • Website Performance & Experience
    • Identify opportunities to enhance user journeys, page layouts, navigation, and overall website usability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to continuously evolve and improve web experiences.
    • Advocate for accessibility, consistency, and user-centered design across all digital touchpoints.
    • Help establish and refine scalable design patterns and reusable web components.
  • Brand & Creative Excellence
    • Ensure digital experiences consistently reflect and strengthen the company's brand identity.
    • Develop visually compelling web experiences that elevate brand perception and differentiate the organization.
    • Maintain consistency across websites, landing pages, digital campaigns, and other online assets.
    • Advance digital storytelling, interaction design, and creative concepts that improve the end-user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with the Development team and key stakeholders to design, refine, and deliver high-quality web experiences that support business and brand objectives.
    • Translate strategic goals and creative briefs into clear, effective, and scalable digital design solutions.
    • Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.
    • Manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communications, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of professional web design, digital design, UX/UI design, or comparable digital experience design experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading website redesigns, major web initiatives, or high-impact digital design projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive website design, UX/UI expertise, landing page design, digital campaign work, and brand-aligned visual design.
  • Expert proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; ability to create polished design systems, prototypes, and production-ready web assets.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, information architecture, interaction design, responsive design, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience partnering with developers and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, marketplace, or high-growth environments.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Experience creating or maintaining design systems, component libraries, and scalable web design standards.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, website analytics, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing workflows.
