What You’ll Do
- Lead and Execute End-to-End Design: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma, prioritizing strong information architecture, usability, and visual depth to solve complex UX problems.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner proactively with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, and Developers to define design feasibility, technical implementation requirements, and overall design strategy across different product areas.
- Conduct & Analyze User Research: Plan, execute, and synthesize user testing and usability studies to gather qualitative and quantitative insights, using this feedback to drive key design decisions.
- Articulate Design Vision: Confidence in presenting and justifying design rationale, concepts, and outcomes to senior and cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering leads and product management executives.
- Iterate Based on Metrics: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Analytics teams to leverage real-world research findings and system metrics, translating data insights into impactful design optimizations.
- Scale the Design System: Contribute to, maintain, and help govern our central UI component library to ensure system-wide consistency and efficient development handoffs.
What Experience You Need
- Education & Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent professional certification/bootcamp from an accredited design program.
- Experience Level: 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or equivalent role within a fast-paced, product-led organization, featuring a portfolio that showcases shipped digital products.
- Tooling Mastery: Advanced proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (specifically Figma ), including utilizing emerging workflows, libraries, and advanced prototyping capabilities.
- Core Accessibility Standards: A strong, practical understanding of digital accessibility guidelines, ensuring designs are WCAG 2.1+ compliant.
- Autonomous Research Execution: Proven experience designing and running usability tests, building research plans, and synthesizing findings into actionable design iterations.
