We are looking for a Contract User Experience (UX) Designer in Villanova, Pennsylvania to create intuitive digital experiences for healthcare and pharmaceutical audiences.

About the role

This role focuses on turning complex medical information, patient journeys, and brand objectives into clear, engaging, and compliant user experiences across digital platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong agency-side collaboration skills and advanced proficiency in Figma to support fast-moving, multi-channel initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered digital experiences for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands across websites, portals, campaign assets, and patient-facing platforms.
  • Translate clinical content, brand strategy, and audience needs into structured user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems, reusable components, and organized Figma files that support multiple brands and rapid project delivery.
  • Partner with creative, medical, strategy, and development teams to ensure solutions reflect both scientific accuracy and brand intent.
  • Lead discovery discussions, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews to clarify requirements and refine the user experience direction.
  • Create interactive prototypes for reviews, usability validation, and cross-functional feedback throughout the design process.
  • Shape content presentation so complex scientific and healthcare information is easy for users to understand and navigate.
  • Ensure digital experiences align with applicable regulatory, platform, and compliance expectations within the pharmaceutical environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience designing UX solutions within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical advertising environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping, version management, and collaborative workflows.
  • Strong background in UX/UI design, wireframing, user flows, journey mapping, and information architecture.
  • Ability to convert complex clinical or scientific material into clear, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional agency teams in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • Understanding of compliance considerations that influence digital design work in regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with additional design tools such as Adobe XD is preferred.
