Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.

- Collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations, and guiding associates to implement business solutions.
- Communicating business objectives to teams effectively, modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards, and following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience, driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (PL) statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved for the business area.
- Supervising and developing opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging, recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential, coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments, and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), and State Pay Differential.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
