Position Summary

The Manager, Strategic Account Management leads the development and execution of account strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing team performance, and ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.

About the team

The Strategic Account Management team for Marketplace D3 (School & Office) drives key business initiatives by building strong stakeholder relationships and aligning strategies with customer needs. The team utilizes data analysis, business metrics, and consultative methods to support revenue growth and optimize account planning. Collaborating cross-functionally, members manage complex projects and enhance product assortments. Emphasizing continuous improvement and integrity, the team fosters professional development and accountability while ensuring compliance with company standards. This group plays a crucial role in advancing Walmart’s mission through strategic partnerships and operational excellence.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in strategic account management with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business metrics, data models, and KPIs to inform decision-making and drive revenue growth.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, negotiation, and developing business plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership capabilities to coordinate complex initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable plans while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area and 2 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Master's degree in business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.
