Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
  • Picks up, moves, and positions merchandise and supplies.
  • Organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases.
  • Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise.
  • Handles merchandise moves and displays goods safely and correctly.
  • Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems.
  • Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and maintains accurate records.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
  • Manages inventory levels and controls shrinkage.
  • Assists with audits for accuracy and performs occasional audits.
  • Handles and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Processes defective merchandise according to company and regulatory policies.
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment by following safety protocols and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Proactively identifies customers needing assistance and provides technology support.
  • Models and helps others with technology services.
  • Respects individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, and recognizing contributions.
  • Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting the Walmart values, and holding oneself and others accountable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.
