Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
  • Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
  • Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Manage inventory flow and maintain inventory levels.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, addressing their needs, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Ensure the sales floor and merchandising presentation comply with company policies.
  • Handle moves and displays goods safely and correctly.
  • Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
  • Identify and report shrink opportunities and problems.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly.
  • Perform occasional audits for accuracy.
  • Handle moves and displays goods in a safe and correct manner.
  • Track goods and maintain inventory levels.
  • Report poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
  • Use inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Assist with picking club pick-up orders, ensuring they are staged and accurate.
  • Process defective merchandise according to company and regulatory policies.
  • Monitor the area for shrink, security risks, and safety.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report any issues.
  • Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
  • Model and help others with technology services.
  • Identify and take steps to fix problems with products, services, and work areas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.
