About the role
The role involves leading and developing teams effectively through training and feedback, managing store operations, merchandising, and company direction. The incumbent will also drive financial performance and sales, provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensure compliance with company policies, and manage various aspects of store operations.
Responsibilities
- Tourstores and provide feedback to associates
- Collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations
- Implement business solutions and communicate business objectives
- Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, and inventory flow
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals
- Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates
- Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provides direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs
- Respects the individual, builds high-performing teams, and fosters a culture of belonging
- Acts with integrity, maintains and promotes the highest standards of ethics and compliance, and models the Walmart values
- Serves our customers and members, delivers results while putting the customer first, and makes decisions based on data insights and analysis
- Strives for excellence, displays curiosity and a desire to learn, and drives continuous improvements
Requirements
- 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
