About the role

This role leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. The role involves communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, merchandising, and company direction. It also entails introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance, and implementing business solutions.

  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and Community Outreach Programs
  • Develops and implements action plans to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues
  • Ensures a high quality customer experience
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
  • Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements
  • Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
  • Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates
  • Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace
  • Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Identifies and communicates goals and objectives
  • Builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results
  • Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning

  • The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses
  • Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure
  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00
