Position Summary

Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, leads and develops teams, manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs are met, and manages claims and receiving operations.

What you'll do...

  • Ensures accurate and competitive pricing, proper inventory levels, cleanliness, and assesses economic trends and community needs.
  • Oversees stocking and rotation of merchandise, sets up displays, secures fragile and high-shrinkage merchandise, and tours stores to provide feedback.
  • Trains and develops teams by hiring, training, and mentoring associates, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating business objectives.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs are resolved and improving the customer experience.
  • Controls unexplained loss of merchandise, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, identifies improvement opportunities, and trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes.
  • Monitors safety and risk controls by ensuring an effective safety program, observing workplace practices, providing training on accident prevention, and managing claims and receiving operations.
  • Respects individuals, builds high-performing teams, and acts with integrity, ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a culture of belonging.
  • Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering various stakeholders when making decisions.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone differentials as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Completion of 2 years of college or 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in one of the following areas: accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (for example, minimum age, specialized training, certification and/or licensing).
  • If applicable, acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
