Position Summary
Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, leading and developing teams, controlling unexplained loss of merchandise, and improving profitability.
What you'll do...
- Ensures accurate and competitive pricing, proper inventory levels, cleanliness, and assessment of economic trends and community needs.
- Oversees the stocking and rotation of merchandise, sets up displays, secures fragile and high-shrinkage merchandise, and tours stores.
- Trains and develops teams, provides feedback, and introduces and leads company change efforts.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives, resolves customer needs, complaints, and issues, and develops action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures a high-quality customer experience.
- Supervises and develops hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating expectations consistently and effectively.
- Controls unexplained loss of merchandise, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, and communicates performance goals and objectives.
- Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes, conducts operational and pre-inventory reviews, and gathers data to monitor deficiency trends.
- Detects, deters, investigates, and resolves violations of company policies and criminal activities, and partners in collaborative efforts with other investigative entities.
- Manages safety and risk controls, identifies accident trends, provides training on accident prevention techniques, and ensures an effective safety program is in place.
- Maintains necessary documentation and reporting, coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities, and supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure differentials, where applicable.

Qualifications
- Completion of 2 years of college or 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
- 1 year’s experience in one of the following areas: accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
- 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
- Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (for example, minimum age, specialized training, certification and/or licensing).
- If applicable, acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
