About the role

The Paid Media Specialist will play a crucial role in executing paid advertising campaigns for the US Open Tennis Championships. This role involves managing media assets, collaborating with creative teams, and ensuring timely delivery of ads to media agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage media assets for all US Open campaigns, including ticket sales, Fan Week, hospitality, Finals Fan Fest & Afterparty, digital growth, and the US Open Shop eCommerce business.
  • Maintain a tracker for all paid media campaigns, including player inclusion, budget, and tracking codes.
  • Organize creative needs and files, ensuring all assets are properly documented and ready for distribution.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to collect required assets and ensure they meet campaign specifications.
  • Track creative development progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Cook up with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for ads.
  • Cook up with our traditional agency, digital agency, and social team, ensuring cohesive execution and timely asset delivery for all campaign elements.
  • Coordinate the trafficking and delivery of media assets to agencies and partners, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collect, organize and distribute ticket sales and campaign metrics, tracking and analyzing new targeting strategies to maximize fan engagement and conversion.
  • Support the Fan Access Pass program by organizing project management, data tracking, and overall support.
  • Support the Marketing Director as needed, including hospitality marketing organization and broader campaign projects and objectives.

Requirements

This is a seasonal hybrid role, expected to start in April and end on October 1, 2026. The position requires flexibility to work on-site at the Westchester office, Times Square office, and the National Tennis Center as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or events.
  • Proven track record of working on multi-channel paid marketing campaigns, including digital, traditional, and social media.
  • Experience working with agencies and managing creative assets and media trafficking.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, campaign management software, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Proficient in using tracking links (e.g., CID, UTM) and interpreting performance data to optimize campaigns.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams (creative, social, email) and external partners or agencies.
  • Strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, and ensure on-time delivery of assets.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to optimize campaign performance and adjust targeting strategies accordingly.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, partners, and agencies.
  • Proven ability to secure internal approvals and navigate complex organizational structures.

Benefits

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly pay range of $30.00 - $35.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills & experience.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
