Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activities within the nursing unit.
  • Perform clerical and receptionist duties.
  • Conduct patient care and service activities/procedures as outlined by state regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and certification.
  • Current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
