This project is located in Harriman, TN and requires being within a commutable distance to site. Per diem and relocation are not included in this role. Union payroll experience on construction projects is strongly preferred. This is a project-only hire position; continued employment cannot be guaranteed past the project completion date.
About the Role
To provide clerical support performing routine activities under general supervision and within defined procedures. This position may have regular contact with clients, suppliers, or company employees outside the immediate work area to exchange information and commonly assists project or administrative support assistants.
Responsibilities
- Handle payroll and payroll-related duties for the site
- Complete simple paper filing activities
- Receive and distribute mail
- Fax documents
- Copy documents
- Prepare files for archiving
- Distribute documents
- Perform scanning and electronic filing
- Answer phones
- Greet and direct visitors
- Assemble documents (reproduction and collation)
- Perform basic word processing and data entry
- Maintain simple spreadsheets
- Order office supplies
- Perform other general clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience necessary
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Work Environment & Physical Demands

- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
