About the role

Responsibilities
- Provides imaging services and transportation to patients of all ages.
- Explains and communicates thoroughly with patients and families.
- Upholds safety standards and follows protocols.
- Ensures patient identification, exam accuracy, and effective communication.
- Facilitates and coordinates services across different departments.
- Maintains a safe and clean ultrasound environment.
- Participates in quality control and documentation for ultrasound equipment.
- Controls and manages inventory and supplies, reporting issues as needed.
- Communicates with other shifts and departments regarding protocol changes and equipment issues.
- Performs duties necessary to maintain accreditation.
- Adheres to DCH Health System policies and procedures.
- Meets education and certification requirements.
- Responds to communication and fulfills job assignments.
- Uses imaging equipment and related materials efficiently.
Qualifications
- Registry eligible by ARDMS.
- Should obtain RDMS and RVT (RVS) certifications within 24 months of eligibility.
- New hires must be RDMS and RVT (RVS) certified within 12 months of hire.
- Graduation and registration requirements must be fulfilled.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
