About the role
Pali Momi Medical Center is a 118-bed facility with over 400 physicians on its medical staff. Located in Central and West O'ahu, the hospital offers a wide range of services including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a minimally invasive surgical suite, a women's center, and advanced imaging technologies like CT scans and MRIs. It is also known for its team triage approach in the emergency room and for providing comprehensive obstetric monitoring through ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support the healthcare needs of patients.
- Collaborate with physicians to utilize high-resolution ultrasound imaging technology for various exams, including obstetrical monitoring.
- Ensure the provision of quality diagnostic services and care for patients and their families.
- Adhere to established procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
- Formal training in ultrasound.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- A current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Qualifications
- One (1) year clinical sonography experience is preferred but not required.
