Ultrasound Technologist ARDMS

Responsibilities

• Sign On Bonus: $10,000.00 or Student Loan Repayment!
• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Absorb and understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Maintain patient well-being during exams; recognize and address patient discomfort or medical problems.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Past SPI exam preferred.
• Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
