Come join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist in both inpatient and outpatient settings across Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, and Stafford areas. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN positions with various shifts available. Relocation assistance is offered for full-time roles over 50 miles from Fredericksburg, along with sign-on bonuses for full-time and part-time positions.

Pay

  • Inpatient Compensation:
    • PRN Flat Rate: $51.00
    • Pay Range: $41.41–$62.11
  • Outpatient Compensation:
    • PRN Flat Rate: $51.00
    • Pay Range: $39.44–$59.15

Requirements

  • General Requirements:
    • Completion of an accredited program in ultrasound.
    • ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or VT) or ARRT (S) certification required at time of hire or within specified timeframes.
    • American Heart Association CPR certification required.
  • Inpatient-Specific Requirements:
    • If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at hire, registry required within 12 months, with the first attempt to pass within 6 months.
  • Outpatient-Specific Requirements:
    • If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at hire, registry required within 6 months.
    • If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at hire, registry required within 12 months.
  • Outpatient Women’s-Specific Requirements:
    • If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at hire, registry required within 6 months.
    • If not ARDMS (BR) registered at hire, registry required within 12 months.
    • If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at hire, registry required within 24 months.

Physical Requirements

  • Constant (67–100% of workday) use of arms and hands.
  • Frequent (34–66% of workday) standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Occasional (0–33% of workday) bending and squatting.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.
  • Auditory and visual skills, including color determination.

Mental Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
  • Capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to cope with difficult situations.
  • Tolerance for irregular hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards

  • Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals.
  • Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in MRI Zones 3 & 4.
