Truck Driver Trainer | Tulare, CA

About the role

We are seeking experienced and passionate drivers to serve as training mentors for our new trainee drivers. Trainers will earn up to $120,000 annually and receive compensation based on both their own miles and those driven by their students.

Responsibilities

• Train new drivers in safe and efficient operation of trucks
• Provide guidance and support to new drivers
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Drive a minimum of 2 weeks at a time

Requirements

• Minimum of 60,000 solo miles within the last year
• Minimum of 1 winter season driving OTR
• No more than 1 preventable incident/accident in the past year
• No more than 1 moving violation in the past year
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• At least 21 years old

Qualifications

• Minimum of 30 days with Knight
• Minimum of 60,000 solo miles within the last year
• Minimum of 1 winter season driving OTR
• No more than 1 preventable incident/accident in the past year
• No more than 1 moving violation in the past year

Pay

Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student’s miles, potentially earning up to $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Trainers must be available to drive a minimum of 2 weeks at a time and are compensated accordingly.
