Pay
- Drivers average $1,120 weekly
- Hourly pay: $28.00 per hour
- 40+ hours per week
- Hotel and meals provided for overnights
Schedule
- Monday – Friday; some weekends
- Start time: 7:00 AM
About the role
- Deliver solo to local areas in OR, WA, and ID
- Day and night runs available
- 26' straight truck equipped with pallet jack, lift gate, stair crawlers, and tablet
- Freight: touch – copy machines
- Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance
- Company drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Must pass a Ryder drug test
- Verifiable driving experience in like equipment (straight truck or box truck):
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Must pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Note: This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
Some positions may require additional screening, such as employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a vehicle within compliance of safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records
- Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
