Truck Driver CDL Class A No Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking recent new CDL graduates to join our Driver Development Program at Ryder. This program offers 8 weeks of training focusing on backing, close quarter maneuvers, and long runs, with drivers earning up to $1715 per week.

Responsibilities

• Detect and eliminate safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Monday – Saturday or Sunday - Friday

Pay

• Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training: $1050 per week
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training: $1715 per week
• Team Miles Pay: $0.335 per Mile with 5000 Miles per Week
• Team Stops Pay: $7.00 per Stop with 4 - 8 Stops per day
