A Step Down Unit Nurse is needed in Clarksville, Tennessee to support a 21-bed unit. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for adult patients, including cardiac and respiratory concerns, with a focus on patient stability in a step-down setting.
• Work in a 21-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4.
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records.
• Responsible for patient care for adult populations, particularly cardiac and respiratory patients.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule without a block schedule.

Requirements

• State licensure as a TN (Tennessee) or compact state license.
• At least 2 years of prior clinical experience including travel.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLs (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale).

Qualifications

• Previous travel experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience are required before submission.
• No float requirements are specified.
• Must be available to start on 10/19/2026, with assignment expected to end on 01/16/2027.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
