Travel Research Coordinator
About the role
Renata Travel DMC is seeking a Travel Research Coordinator for hands-on work centered on research traceability and the day-to-day demands of incoming DMC work across Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica, and Italy. This includes tailor-made programs, excursions, transfers, groups, MICE, and local partners. The role focuses on travel research coordination within incoming DMC operations, ensuring every handoff clearly shows what is complete, what is pending, and who owns the next step.
Responsibilities
- Review the Travel Research Coordinator workflow by helping the team organize evidence around research questions.
- Maintain the workflow by separating observed facts from interpretation.
- Track the workflow by documenting findings and limitations clearly.
- Own the workflow by collecting information from relevant sources.
- Coordinate the workflow by checking source credibility and recency.
- Support MICE and survey initiatives within incoming DMC operations.
- Apply the Travel Research Coordinator Workflow without losing track of exceptions, owners, or deadlines.
- Document market research decisions clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning.
- Use sound judgment in research documentation, especially when escalation is required.
Requirements
Strong performance is demonstrated through fewer avoidable corrections, timely follow-through, and records that make the next action obvious. Remote execution is considered complete only when research traceability is accurate, secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.
Pay
Base salary: $48,000–$72,000 per year.
Schedule
Full-time, 100% remote within the United States. Associate level.
