Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job

Overview

A registered nurse (RN) position in telemetry care is available for a hospital setting in Kansas City, KS. The start date is September 13, 2026, with a contract duration of 15 weeks. The weekly pay range is $2,032 to $2,151, with no guaranteed hours and 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult and select pediatric-adult patients on a telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, interpret telemetry findings, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; document in the electronic health record.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards; perform ongoing assessment and timely escalation as needed.
• Float to related units or overflow areas as needed to meet patient care demands, with appropriate orientation and supervision.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Kansas RN license; BLS certification.
• Education: Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year(s) of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Certifications: Kansas RN license and BLS required.

Skills
