Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Overview
This travel assignment is for a PACU-focused RN role within a high-volume procedural environment. The position requires adult and pediatric experience in prep and recovery for procedural areas, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. EPIC experience within the past two years is required. Some on-call coverage may be required.
Key Highlights
Weekly pay: $2,290–$2,361 per week
Contract duration: 16 weeks
Shift: 3x12-hour rotating shifts
Start date: 08/10/2026
Work setting: Hospital, procedural/post-anesthesia care unit
On-call requirements: Some on-call expected
Responsibilities
Provide prep and recovery care for procedural areas, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
Monitor and stabilize patients in PACU/CVU, including adults and pediatrics; manage vitals, pain, and airway as needed
Administer medications per physician orders and hospital policy; document care and interventions in the electronic health record (EPIC)
Collaborate with anesthesia, cardiology/interventional teams, and nursing staff to ensure safe, timely patient disposition
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and continuity of care from PACU through discharge from the procedural area
On-call coverage may be required as part of the assignment
Requirements
Active RN license in good standing; Graduation from an accredited RN program
Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred
Recent trauma 1 experience in a large teaching facility (500+ beds) required
Adult and pediatric PACU experience; prep and recover for procedural areas (Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology)
EPIC experience within the past 2 years
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
