About the role

Operating Room (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse position in a hospital operating room. You will support the surgical team throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the OR circulator, supporting the surgical team through the perioperative process
• Admit the patient to the OR, verify details, and ensure readiness for the procedure
• Monitor sedation and respond to intraoperative needs in coordination with anesthesia
• Administer medications as ordered and document intraoperative events
• Maintain a sterile field, manage sterile supplies, and retrieve equipment requested by the team
• Document the case and facilitate patient and team communication during the procedure

Requirements

• Active RN license for Kansas or a valid multi-state (compact) license
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• Must be comfortable circulating in the OR
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.)
• Start date 09/07/2026 with all licensure/certifications current at submission; no pending credentials
• Willingness to work in a hospital OR setting in Topeka, KS

Pay

Weekly pay: $2,098–$2,147 per week for 36 hours.

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) for 13 weeks.
