Overview

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Circulator travel assignment in Chillicothe, OH. Starts September 14, 2026, for 13 weeks. 40 guaranteed hours per week on a 5x8 day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in a hospital operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR circulating nurse coverage for cases across specialties including urology, ENT, vascular, OB/GYN, cardiothoracic, general and acute care surgery
• Prepare the OR and assist with patient positioning, draping, instrument setup, and turnover between cases
• Maintain aseptic technique, patient safety, and accurate intraoperative documentation; monitor counts and equipment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and scrub staff to support efficient case flow and urgent/emergent cases as needed
• Verify case carts, check for outdated supplies, and assist with room turnover to ready the OR for the next day
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• OR circulator experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
• Willingness to work days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to patient safety protocols
