Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date 09/29/2026 for a 13-week contract.

Schedule

• Guaranteed 38 hours per week
• 4x10-hour rotating shift (day shifts with rotating evenings/nights and weekend call)

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,426 to $2,579 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative nursing care for patients during the perioperative period, safeguarding patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with surgeons and the anesthesia team to prepare the sterile field, anticipate needs, and ensure proper instrument counts and specimen handling
• Monitor patient status continuously, documenting intraoperative events, and responding to changes in vital signs or conditions
• Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures
• Administer or assist with medications and interventions as directed by the circulating nurse and anesthesia team
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and regulatory standards; communicate effectively with the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• 3 years of related OR/perioperative experience
• Ability to work in a high-stakes operating room environment with rotating shifts and on-call requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, perioperative safety, and documentation practices
