Overview Registered Nurse – OR (Operating Room) Marietta, Georgia, United States Start: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $1,919–$2,044 per week Shift: 4x10-hour days (40 hours per week) Setting: hospital travel assignment This travel RN role supports perioperative care in a surgical setting. The assignment is for a 13-week period with dayshift coverage and involves working in an operating room environment on a structured travel rotation Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,919–$2,044 per week Assignment duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour days (40 hours per week) Location: Marietta, GA; hospital setting Start date: 10/12/2026 Travel assignment in an operating room environment Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases for surgical patients Assist the surgical team with sterile technique, instrument handling, counts, equipment readiness, and room setup Monitor patient status throughout the procedure, respond to intraoperative events, and coordinate with anesthesia providers Document perioperative care, patient responses, and ensure accurate handoffs to PACU or receiving units Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and the broader care team to promote patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes Support patient and family education related to the perioperative process and postoperative expectations as appropriate Requirements Current Georgia RN license (active) in good standing Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in Georgia Experience: perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred Skills: strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking; ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting Schedule/ Mobility: ability to work 10-hour day shifts (4x10 schedule) and participate in a travel assignment as required Benefits and Support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement 24/7 recruiter and travel support Onboarding and credentialing assistance to facilitate start Find more opportunities If you’re exploring other roles, apply for additional openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
