Travel Registered Nurse OB GYN Job

Overview

Location: Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Start date: 08/17/2026. Contract duration: 13-week engagement. Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts), 3 nights per week. Setting: Inpatient OB/GYN care. On-call: Weekends, holidays, and on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the physician to develop and implement a plan of care aimed at returning the patient to optimal health
• Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders, including medication administration and monitoring
• Delegate to and supervise assigned support team members (Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk, Psychiatric Tech) as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and modify interventions based on patient response and evolving clinical needs
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, manage obstetric and gynecologic care needs, and document care accurately
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure safety, privacy, and high standards of care for obstetric patients

Requirements

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years OB nursing experience
• AWHONN certification within the last two years
• Certifications: AWHONN, NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Licensed RN in good standing; ability to work the listed night shift and weekend/holiday on-call schedule

Pay

• Weekly pay range: $2,124–$2,219 per week

Schedule

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts), 3 nights per week
• Weekend and holiday on-call coverage
