Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $2,560-$2,694 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36

• Shift: 3x12 nights

• Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
• Up to 36 hours of call-off available at no cost to the facility during the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neonates in a Level 3 NICU, including routine assessment, monitoring, and intervention as ordered
• Collaborate with neonatology and multidisciplinary teams to implement and adjust care plans; document patient progress and outcomes
• Assist with delivery attendance, stabilization of newborns, and resuscitation as needed
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support respiratory care and monitoring equipment
• Manage feeds, nutrition support, and tube care; chart accurately and maintain neonatal records
• Maintain patient and family safety, advocate for families, and participate in shift handoffs

Requirements

• Two years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Delivery attendance experience
• Postpartum experience welcomed but not required
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a travel assignment
