Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Med Surg at a hospital in Cozad, Nebraska. Assignment begins 08/24/2026 and lasts several weeks.

About the role

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 3 × 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00)
• Weekly pay range: $1,995–$2,136

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients per established care plans
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per policy
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement plans; educate patients and families
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting; ensure quality standards
• Support discharge planning and transitions of care as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Nebraska licensure or eligibility for endorsement)
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Med-Surg experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a 12-hour shift schedule
• Strong communication and documentation skills
