Key Highlights
- Weekly pay range: $1,933 - $2,042 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 3 days per week
- Start date: 08/17/2026
- Assignment setting: Medical-surgical environment with telemetry/step-down exposure; occasional float to related Med-Surg units
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, with telemetry/step-down monitoring as needed
- Interpret telemetry strips, respond to rhythm changes, and collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment plans
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV therapies; document in the Epic EMR
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment
- Floating to related Med-Surg units as required; adhere to unit protocols and accuracy in documentation
- Complete shift handoffs, maintain patient safety, and participate in ongoing quality and performance measures
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher classes or sit-downs are not available)
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry and/or step-down experience; able to read telemetry; competency tested on day one
- Availability for nights with every-other-weekend requirement; start date 08/17/2026
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med-Surg setting and float to related units as needed
