Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient group using established standards and the nursing process
Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, identify diagnoses and care issues
Develop, implement, and evaluate a care plan; administer treatments and monitor patient response
Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education and treatment team information
Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties, maintaining a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
