About the role

Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) in Bangor, Maine, with a start date of 08/31/2026 and a 13-week travel assignment. The weekly pay range is $2,056 to $2,084 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a night shift of 3x12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical units under the supervision of the Unit Director
  • Perform nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor telemetry as appropriate
  • Document patient status accurately and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
  • Ensure care delivery adheres to the Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies

Requirements

  • Current Maine RN license
  • BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work nights in a hospital med-surgical setting

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,056–$2,084. Please note that pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and confirmed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
