Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Travel assignment in Ukiah, California starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following standard nursing processes
- Collect and analyze health data, determine diagnoses, develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; supervise and direct activities of nursing staff as assigned
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; provide education to patients and families
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and document care accurately
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- BLS/CPR required; ACLS certification required; PALS certification required per policy
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in med/surg or acute care
- Ability to work the listed night shift (3x12-hour nights) and participate in weekend rotations
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting as a travel nurse and meet onboarding requirements
Pay
- Weekly pay: $1,808–$1,843
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Schedule
- 13-week contract with extension opportunities
- Night shifts, 12-hour blocks (3 shifts per week)
- Start date: 09/14/2026
