Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult med-surg patients, including neuro-trauma surgical cases such as spinal injuries, gunshot wounds, and paraplegia/quadriplegia, under physician orders
• Monitor patient status with frequent neuro checks, vital signs, pain control, wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration
• Document in the EPIC electronic medical record, maintain accurate charts, and communicate changes to the care team and family
• Assist with procedures, coordinate with physical therapy and occupational therapy, arrange transports, and support discharge planning
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols on a busy trauma-focused med-surg unit

Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys license verification
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg RN experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Certification Card on file
• Ability to work the night shift in a hospital setting
