Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect relevant patient data, assess needs, and develop a care plan; implement interventions and coordinate care delivery
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as indicated, and evaluate outcomes toward established goals
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care; offer education as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate transitions of care to support continuity and safety
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred; current nursing practice in a hospital setting
