About the role
Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Setting: hospital, travel - temporary assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and analgesia needs
- Manage IVs, drains, and wound care; assist with procedures as needed
- Observe for changes in patient condition; communicate findings to the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
- Participate in patient and family education; adapt care plans as patient needs evolve
- Float to other departments in rotation as assigned, maintaining flexibility and teamwork
Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys demographics verification
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Willingness to float to other departments in rotation
- Ability to work a nights schedule (3x12 shift)
- 13-week travel assignment on Med Surg

Pay
Weekly pay: $1,815–$1,871 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
