Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients in L&D, including labor support, monitoring, medication administration, and comfort measures
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures and provide couplet care across the L&D environment, including OR, PACU, and postpartum as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer prescribed medications, manage emergencies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in rounds, handoffs, and care planning
- Assume RN charge duties when assigned, coordinating team activities, supervising staff, and ensuring patient safety and quality care
- Provide newborn care for babies 32 weeks gestation and up; support breastfeeding, newborn assessments, and transition to postpartum flow as part of the care team
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP and STABLE certifications
- RN Charge experience required
- Experience in L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum care
- Ability to provide couplet care
- Capable of caring for babies 32 weeks gestation and older
- Flu vaccine required or documented plan to obtain by 10/31/25

Benefits and Support
Weekly pay: $2,617–$2,825 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and call rotation
Setting: Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with OR, PACU, and postpartum capabilities
Travel eligibility: must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility
