Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDRP) at a hospital-based unit in Albany, Oregon. Assignment duration: 13 weeks, starting 09/07/2026.
About the Role
Provide comprehensive care in a family-centered, medically safe environment delivering labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum, including newborn care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition per established protocols.
- Administer medications, manage pain relief options, and assist with labor progress and delivery as directed by physicians and protocols.
- Support newborn care including initial assessments, stabilization if needed, and parental education and bonding support.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatric staff, and other team members; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain safe, evidence-based practice with emphasis on infection control, patient safety, and effective communication across shifts.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required (AHA).
- ACLS required for LDRP (AHA).
- NRP and STABLE preferred.
- Ability to work in a labor, delivery, and recovery environment and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,518–$2,656 per week.
Schedule
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Shift: Days (0700–1930) with every third weekend.
