Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location: Newport, Oregon
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (0645–1915), every other weekend
- Weekly Pay Range: $2,356–$2,487
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns within the LDRP unit
- Maintain safety and infection control standards
- Document assessments, care plans, and patient education
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia, pediatrics, and nursing teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Support family-centered care, discharge planning, and newborn follow-up education
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Basic fetal monitoring skills required
- NRP and STABLE preferred
- Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity LDRP setting and meet travel assignment requirements
