Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Travel temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, located in Portland, Oregon. Assignment begins 08/17/2026 and lasts 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients using the nursing process
• Monitor, assess, document, and respond to patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesia, and support teams
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; delegate duties as appropriate
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare treatment team; provide education on pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon)
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in labor and delivery or a closely related field
• Ability to work in a hospital acute care setting and maintain a 3x12-hour shift schedule

Pay

• Weekly pay: $2,385–$2,474 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

• Shift: 3x12-hour days
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
