Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Travel temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a hospital in Nashua, NH. Start date: 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks.
Pay
Weekly pay: $3,352 to $3,469 per week.
Schedule
Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) with every third weekend required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, newborns, and their families, following the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, manage labor progress, administer medications per protocol, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and the nursing team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Provide postoperative care for GYN surgical and general postoperative patients as needed; bring circulation experience to support operating room and perioperative activities.
- Provide family education, discharge planning, and documentation with attention to accuracy and compliance with standards such as the AWHONN guidelines.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license.
- BLS certification.
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Ability to work nights and every third weekend.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with patients, families, and hospital staff per policy.
- Willingness to care for laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns within a hospital setting.
