Travel Registered Nurse ICU assignment in Clearlake, CA at a Critical Access Hospital. Start date: 08/31/2026.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care for the ICU patient population.
- Monitor patient status, interpret hemodynamic and other monitors, and administer medications and IV therapies.
- Manage airway and ventilator support as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Document care in the electronic health record and ensure safety and infection control standards are maintained.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, formulate timely care plans, and participate in handoffs and care transitions.
- Adhere to unit protocols, prioritize patient safety, and support continuous improvement in clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (ACLS must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held).
- At least two years of documented ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course; two years ICU experience preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in an ICU environment with flexibility to adapt to patient care needs.

Pay
Weekly pay range: $2,039 to $2,159 per week.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (approximately 0600–1830).
