Travel Registered Nurse Case Management Job

Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 15 weeks. Setting: ambulatory OB clinic within a gender-specific women’s substance use treatment program.

Pay & Schedule

  • Weekly pay: $3,305–$3,469
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
  • Shift: Days

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments in an outpatient OB clinic and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions; administer medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Coordinate care across the care team, including referrals, follow-up, and continuity of services
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record; ensure documentation supports quality and safety standards
  • Provide patient and family education on care plans, medications, and discharge needs; promote culturally responsive, patient-centered care
  • Recognize significant changes in patient condition and escalate to the appropriate licensed provider; participate in quality and performance improvement activities
  • Maintain infection control standards, professional practice, and adherence to Alaska BON-aligned nursing judgment; float to other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Current, active Registered Nursing license in Alaska at time of submittal (agency staff must hold an active Alaska license)
  • Case management experience required; ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to work in an ambulatory clinic setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Active or eligible to work in the United States; commitment to professional practice within scope of nursing standards
